My gift to you: A sick playlist and some new supplies BABY

My gift to you: A sick playlist and some new supplies BABY

Greetings from the Stood,

I am coming to you (actually) from the hazy mists of summer time with a kid at home. Blissfully long, lazy moments in silence doing our own things interspersed with gut wrenchingly hard coming of age shenanegans as you will have with an almost 12 yo.
I am coping (thanks for asking), still making art here and there and doing lots of long walks, deep breathing and some light screaming. You know what? I realize that I have some sage advice to share.
One of my (regulating, teenagering, or centering) things is "going for a drive" and that means I get to just peace out. I drive to my old studio (Ice House Lofts Represent) or do drive through diet doctor pepper. Mostly just drive around, its hot and I leave the windows down. I play the music as loud as it will go. It helps me get THE FUCK away from people.
Peak Summer.
Anyway I have a playlist that has been making me feel like a teenager again and here it is:
Instructions: Turn it UP, open the windows and dance in the car.
Other practical summer improvements:
I have been testing out some new-to-me painting supplies that are as cheep as possible. I have all of them linked here, lemme know what you think if you check them out!
Featuring the inkswatercolorsacrylics and good quality watercolor paper that won't break the bank. I love for if you want to spend the LEAST.
But still my fave pan watercolors EVER.
AND if you want something special to play with, I am loving these (try them on Rice Paper for a special fun wavy effect.)

xoxo
Michelle
